Continental improves the format of its corporate volunteering by scaling it up through the introduction of a competitive grant system

The new small grant programme is aimed at supporting local social initiatives in the areas where the Company operates - in rural communities in Ternopil, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi and Khmelnytskyi regions. The programme provides communities with financial and material support to implement important local projects, including infrastructure, landscaping, environmental protection and preservation of historical and cultural heritage.

  • The maximum amount of one grant is 50 thousand UAH

Continental provides them in the form of goods and materials and payment for services.

  • An important condition is co-financing from the community of at least 20%,

which ensures the active participation of local residents in project implementation.

  • This format not only strengthens the financial capacity of communities,

it also promotes shared responsibility for the result and even more effective cooperation and mutual trust.

The best initiatives selected as a result of the grant competition are implemented by Continental during traditional volunteer events that have been held for six years in a row.

They bring together the Company's employees and local residents to work together to improve the amenities and infrastructure of communities.
